Katharine Howard's Beautiful Home

This beautiful home, owned and designed by the talented interior, fashion & party stylist Katharine Howard, really brings a smile to my face. She has used a simple, soft and wonderfully relaxing palette of colour for the walls and kitchen cabinets - the sitting room walls look like Blackened from Farrow & Ball, which we also have in ours.

Where she adds the character and stamps her personality on her home is with her wonderful use of pattern in her soft furnishing scheme. I recognise some of my Rug Company favourites from their Studio Collection and really admire her bold approach; mixing a range of strong patterns together, which works so well because she keeps to one main colour throughout.

Katharine spent many years working for The World of Interiors before setting up on her own and it really shows – she’s a woman who clearly knows all there is to know about top end interior design collections!
